Someone out there wants me to slow down.
I reinjured my left ankle this afternoon. Not good. I had taken a bit of bone out nearly twenty years ago and then went skiing before I should have. That ruined my dancing and yoga for years. Now I mucked the damned thing up again. The bone on the outside of my ankle looks like a baseball. A. rubbed arnica into it for me and left her little hand resting on the area for a while. I do think children have a natural talent for Reiki. The bone and surrounding area became very warm from her touch.
I have a suggestion for some folks who may be feeling a bit antagonized by the state of the world (you know who you are), relax and zone on the movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Very whimsical and very appropritate to the times. Amazing what a bit of magic in a woman's handling can do.
I hope to check out the light show early tomorrow morning. I always find the stars to be a strong reminder of the pettiness of human persuits and the depth of beauty in the night.
