This is a word that bothers me today. It bothers me very very much.
Personally, pholosophically, globally, I have a problem relating to this word today. I particularly take offense in the fact that most people don't see the direct relationship to dogma (see definition "2-b").
It snowed again today. This may explain my difficulty with the word of the day. It may not. If I look at things in a dogmatic way, I suppose snow is comforting in it's familiarity at this potential transistion from winter to spring. Humans hang on to things very tightly, not wanting change. Doctrine is security. Dogma is GOD. Humans thrive on these things.
I see the devas dance between the snowflakes laughing and singing the chill out of the air. Persephone will be released by Hades as agreed. Demeter will have it no other way. These are cycles that are a part of the natural order. There are sins of human doctrine that disrupt, interupt and displace the natural order. There are humans running wild with fire in their hands. They have no respect.
I summon, stir and call thee up, forces of the natural order. The dawning light of the east, the brilliant fire of the south, the settling abundance of the west, the dreaming wisdom of the north. Guide the world to a place of balance and peace.
So Mote It Be.
