Rainman is so fucking fucked up. I demanded he talk today and he avoided it like the damned plague for most of the day. When it finally got to a point and I pushed he said a few things.
Poor stupid fuck is overwhelmed by all that he needs to do. He is lost and has no clue how to find his way. The therapist in rehab did him no favors when she created an illusion of superpowers that would enable him to build a new life as easy as legos. He, being naive, trusted that all would go well and it didn't. He is now adrift.
So unfair, how can professionals lie like that? Folks who are addicted and insecure do not need to be lied to.
Just for the record, I can't be the one to walk him through this although he tried to get me to offer something. I left it that if he asks I will do what I can but he has to fix himself.
Some damned ugly shit.
