Oh, looky what happened, we put the babies outside in the kid barn. They shivered and then they discovered movement and started to experiment. The littlest one that you see in the first picture tried to hop sideways as goat babies are wont to do and she promplty fell down on her side. She got up pretty quick though and should be romping and hopping in no time at all.
That little girl has to be at least as small as Le Petite Chevre was when she was born as a quad. I suspect this little doe was in the same horn of the uterus as the buck kid with the white stripe and he got the better part of that placenta. She is very determined and is drinking eight ounces of milk just fine.
Now Sprinkles doe is a total love and A. is totally attached to her. She is very strong and the largest of the bunch with very long legs. Here she is being hugged again by A.
Minne is hollow around the hips. We may see more goat babies soon. First timers can be hard to figure out though.....
