The plumber was back today and the drywell and the floor drain are done. Wow, that was a trip. I wound up smoothing the concrete that was put in over the pipes in the floor and the drain. It needed to be done an hour or two after the concrete was poured. That left me with the job. tedious thing smoothing concrete. It took me a while all crouched down on the floor with the trowl in hand and a bucket of water at my side. But a huge part of the cheeseroom project is now done.

This is what the garage floor looked like after the concrete was broken and you can see daylight through the back wall of the garage where the pipe passes through to connect with the drywell pipe.

Now this is the drain in the floor with the concrete repaired and professional smoothed by little ole' me. (modest ain't I?)

While the plumber returned the jackhammer A. took the pretty orange machine for a test drive. Ain't they cute?
Now, I have to express my gratitude for little things. I finally called the used restauraunt supply about the sink I had looked at two weeks ago. The guy asked if I could get there today and I said, no not until Monday. Well he offered to bring the sink up and I said, THANK YOU! Well the guy shows up with the sink and gives me a brand new faucet in the box for nothing and then, even though he said there would be tax he didn't charge me tax.

Now I have to go out to two farmer's markets this weekend and make lots of money despite the rain. I see a big plumber's bill in my near future so wish me luck.
