We repopulated our 60gal. aquarium today. Well, not fully populated but it is a start. Nearly $50 later we added three more silver dollars (no where near the size of the geriatric we have had for years), five giant danios and two flame gouramis. A. added three rosey barbs to her little mini hex aquarium.
Funny to see all that movement in the dining room pond again. I love to watch the fishies. We fed them and the new ones relaxed a bit from the trauma of being moved. The big silver dollar (the vegetarian of the piranah family) tasted the little flame gouramis thinking they may have been some VERY large fishie flakes to nosh on. He got over that pretty fast so I think all is good in the pond.
In other exciting news the washing machine had one of my tie cye socks jammed in the outer area of the tub so it wouldn't spin. Sock is lost. Washer is good. Economic impact totally tolerable.
Rain forcast for tomorrow. Bah humbug. I wouldn't mind so much if it stopped there but the rain is there in some form or another all next week.
Gonna go eat some vegetarian chili now so I gotta run....
