What an afternoon. What a contrast to Sprinkles kidding last year.
I will be brief since I am completely played out. Sprinkles had three kids. The first, a tiny buck, was limp and not breathing. I couldn't get him to breath. The second, a tiny doe, is Ok but she is very weak and not eating well. The third, a decent size doe, is doing fine. The placenta still is not completely delivered.
Last year Sprinkles sucessfully delivered a full breech and two other large kids. Nature is full of suprises.
A. was right there through it all. She dried the kids and kept them stimulated. She is totally exhausted.
I must sleep. I am concerned about the placenta being fully delivered by tomorrow morning and the tiny baby eating better.
