Yup. Things are a hard row to hoe right now. Have to check with the ex and see which weekend day he needs for work, but let's you and I do something. Tea. Browsing. Getting our funk on in N.P. maybe. Or we could get together with the kidlets in tow, mine is always glad enough to hang with a pretty girl. More by email. And thanks, sweetie, your kindness is a true soul balm. ~LA

why doesn't r.man look for a better job? surely he doesn't want his kid to be living on the edge? distraction with friends is a great idea. i understand the poverty thing well-for now i'm just using a credit card a hedging bets that the future will be better and telling myself tomorrow's another day.

It gets so tiresome to have to be the responsible one, doesn't it? I am lucky to have the husband I have and believe me, I KNOW IT. I hope you do get a chance to have some girl time with your friends and a chance to just let it ALL hang out. Have you given any thought at all...even a teeny tiny one...to talking to an attorney to find out what you might get for support if you decide this is the end of the rope for you?
