I'm on the other side of menopause, and sorry to report that my headaches didn't go away. Let's hope that you have better luck!

Yes, bad news on the migraine front...it doesn't always go away. If medication works for you, get a large supply. How cute that A. loves dresses and high heels...what a tomboy...LOL! However the shopping does sound like fun and a change from your usual goat duties....hope you both have a great time.

I used to have migraines. Went for years with one, sometimes 2 a month. Tried every kind of Dr and some folks that weren't...tried preventative meds of all sorts, preventative eating, drinking, anything and everything. Nothing helped. Nothing could stop them after onset and the only way to get them to go away was to take serious pain pills that would knock me out and hope to wake up & have it be gone. (Mepergan was the best drug for that) Sometimes it would be a 2 day ordeal and then the next day feeling like you'd been hit by a train and drug through a knot hole backwards. They did stop after my complete hysterectomy in 1999. I've had 4 or 5 since then and I pray every single day that I don't get another one, because my Dr here in AR won't give me any mepergan, so it'll be off to the Emergency Room for a shot if I get one (and hope there is someone around to drive me!) I don't know if it is a coincidence that they stopped after the surgery or not but all of my 'female functions' were SO totally screwed up that it probably had alot to do with it. Sadly, my Dad had them, my daughter has them and my poor sweet eldest grandaughter had her 1st one at about 9 years old. Imagine the horror in that! My 'regular' Dr that I had for 100 years in AK told me that one day they would just stop, kinda the same way they just started (I was 32 I think). That may have some truth to it and hope yours stop soon, for whatever reason! They represent some debilitating, horrendous suffering!!
