* One tomato plant flat on the ground.
* One bean pole nearly on the ground.
* One cosmos flatented, completely.
* One summer squash moved 8.4 inches south of it's previous location.
Not bad given the magnatude of the storm. I found out this morning there were tornado warnings in the next county, which I can walk to.
You may be speculating that the storm broke the horrible heat. Nope, folks, today was worse than yesterday with heat index calculations of 110. The pavement at the farmer's market was red hot and EVIL. Business totally SUCKED. I should not have gotten out of bed this morning. I actually broke a sweat walking to the barn in the dark and fog at 5:30am. It is mornings like that that just scream, "go back the fuck back to bed woman, are you crazy"
I get to do it all agian tomorrow.
