A most excellent afternoon was had eating good veggie munchies and sipping C0ronas and conversing and admiring the antics of our children.
It had been way too long since Magrit and I have hung out together. We talk nearly every day on the phone. Sometimes for hours at a time. We grab the phone and call each other when we need to vent over the little crap that can just make ya nuts. We call to ask an opinion about a project or how to pull of the building of an object or complete a home repair. We often joke about the 100 acre compound we will live on with the houses in the middle and a flag system to alert visitors if it is safe to approach or not. If the red flag is flying stay the fuck away folks.
A. had a good time too. Magrit has four boys. Eric is the same age as A. and they have similar intrersts. Nature, electric guitars, adventures, creating and building stuff. She hung out with Eric and Matt drifted in and out of their activity for a while. Matt is a little younger and a real imp. Very physical and will most likely become a radical snowboarder or crazy dirt bike stunt dude. She came home tired which is to be expected since she isn't up to full speed yet.
Overall a most pleasant day.
